The GDPR provides that, before proceeding to the processing of Personal Data, it is necessary that the person to whom such Personal Data belong is informed about the purposes for which such data are requested and how they will be used.
To this end, the purpose of this document is to provide, in a simple manner, all the useful and necessary information so that the user can, if necessary, provide his or her Personal Data in an informed and conscious manner and, at any time, request and obtain clarifications and/or corrections.
This information notice, therefore, has been drawn up on the basis of the principle of transparency and of all the elements required by Article 13 of the GDPR and is divided into individual sections, each of which deals with a specific topic in order to make it quicker, easier and easier to read and understand (“Information Notice”). The Information is provided exclusively for the aforementioned site and does not concern any other sites that may be reached by the user through links that may be present on the same.
DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller is NUO S.p.A. Via dei Bossi 4, Milan (“NUO” or “Data Controller”).
TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate this website acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected to be associated with identified subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.
This category of data includes IP addresses or the domain names of the computers used by users who connect to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and computer environment.
This data is used solely for the purpose of checking the correct operation of the site and is deleted no later than 7 days after collection; except in the case where it must be used to ascertain responsibility in the case of computer crimes to the detriment of the site: in this case, the information will be kept at the disposal of the Authority for the time necessary to ensure that NUO can exercise its rights of defence.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The user may:
a) send an e-mail to request information to the address info@nuo.com, as indicated in the specific page “Contact us”. In this case, the information provided by the user will only be processed to meet the request received;
b) send your CV to the address info@nuo.com in the “Contact us” page – “Careers” section.
Cookies
Cookies are strings of text (“data files”) that some websites, while being visited, can send to the user in order to track his path within the site and collect data in an anonymous form, to improve the offer and usability of the site itself.
NUO does not use computer techniques for the direct acquisition of personal data identifying the user. No use is made of cookies for the transmission of information of a personal nature, or of systems for tracing users.
NUO uses so-called technical cookies for the sole purpose of making it possible to navigate the site and allow the user to use its functions. Some technical cookies are indispensable to offer an optimal browsing experience: navigation cookies are session cookies and are therefore automatically deactivated once the browser is closed. It is not necessary to obtain the user’s consent for the installation of these cookies.
NUO also uses so-called third party analytical cookies which, by allowing to obtain information on how visitors interact with the contents of the site (most visited pages, browsing time, etc.), provide useful statistics that allow to optimize and improve the navigation on the site. For this type of cookie, it is not necessary to collect users’ consent, since IP addresses do not make it possible to trace the identity of the interested party directly, and the Google Analytics service to which NUO has adhered (here, more information www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/ for the methods of data collection and processing by Google Analytics) allows receiving information only for statistical purposes without the possibility of cross-referencing the information with other data that may be available. NUO, therefore, will have access to the aforementioned information only for consultation activities.
Should the user wish to disable the cookies already installed, he/she will have to modify the settings of his/her browser. The procedure to follow varies depending on the type of browser used. You can obtain more information by selecting the link for your browser:
